Amazing scenery that you wouldn't see anywhere else in the world, towering snow-capped mountains, and huge glaciers absolutely wonderful would recommend it to everyone.
Perfect Royal Princess Sydney to Yokohama   , Nelson, New Zealand, Apr 2024
Our first-time cruising with Princess and we'll definitely return. The Royal Princess is not a Wow looking ship, but it's absence of waterfalls, ice-skating rinks, shopping malls and the like really suited our style of cruising. The staff were all exceptional! The entertainment was fabulous, the meals were delicious and our bed was extremely comfortable! ...read more The itinerary included quite a few at sea days (one stretch of 4 days and another of 5 days) however the entertainment was ramped up so you never felt bored. We enjoyed the ports-of-call and had a mix of ship-booked excursions and doing it alone. The ship's excursions were very pricey and the main comment we heard was that they weren't worth the money.
Our booking experience with Georgie at Global Journeys was faultless! She kept us readily informed and couldn't have been more helpful. An excellent service.
Cunard lost it's shine?   , New Zealand, Mar 2024
Not sure I'd travel with Cunard again. This was my 14th cruise and 1st Cunard. It was chosen for destination and being rated a 5 star cruise line. Prior to this we did an Oceania cruise (just pre covid- 2019) and it was 5 star, however Cunard was not up the that standard. While I like the decor, some areas of the ship are getting a bit tired and need ...read more a refurbishment. Some of the crew were just going through the motions, a couple of the days trips were poorly organised and managed, and the trip included lunches were like being in a boarding school lunch room. Definitely not as many inclusions as other cruises, and actually felt a bit undervalued as a client
Fantastic experience     , Vic, Australia, Apr 2023
The Viking "Far Eastern Horizons" cruise was fantastic. The shore excursions were led by very experienced Japanese guides. The excursions gave us a snapshot look at some great Japanese cities- Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Osaka, Tokyo etc. and Taipei in Taiwan. The on board lectures given by historians on the history, culture and food of Japan were a wonderful ...read more adjunct for understanding our experience. The accommodation, food and entertainment on the ship were first class. Would thoroughly recommend this Viking experience. Attached a view of Mt. Fuji photographed from the dining room at breakfast!
