While we enjoyed the people we met and the staff and service on the Ghan, the Gold Class cabin was old and outmoded. For the cost we don’t expect to be in 1950’s era rail sleeper. This was our first Trafalgar tour and it certainly will not be our last. A great tour director passionate and knowledgeable about his country, a great selection of hotels and activities ,and added tours that were good value and flexable.
